This mat is made of fiberglass and coated on both sides with non-stick silicone, allowing for the dough to be rolled out effortlessly. It is ideal for kneading, beating and rolling dough or working with sugar and chocolate. The top side of the mat does not need to be floured when kneading or rolling out the dough. The bottom side is skid resistant and secures itself to any working surface. Without flour the dough is less dry and is smoother. The dough is also finer looking and retains its glossiness, you keep your workspace cleaner. There is also no need to add extra fats to compensate for the flour. Made in China.
