Steps for use with a Deep Fryer

Step 1 Depending on which recipe you have, you'll have to select the correct oil. Cooking times and results rely on differing kinds of oils and fats. Peanut oil is considered the tastiest but it is's also costlier. Canola is very popular and is also one of the healthier oils. Sunflower oil or merely normal vegetable oil will also be good. Olive oil is not so good for deep frying. It's particular flavor is best saved for sauteing or salads.

Step 2 Next you will need to put in the frying oil that you have chosen for your recipe. Make sure you find out if there's a MAX line or have a look at the maker's directions to determine the correct quantity of oil for your deep fryer. You would like to have enough oil to dunk your food for your particular recipe. The Waring Pro Deep Fryer has a MAX line for your ease of use.

Step 3 Now you have to set the temperature. Counter top Electronic deep fryers are the most frequently used in homes for frying. With the Waring Pro Deep Fryer, in order to warm the oil you have to simply twist the dial to the specified temperature.

Step 4 Before adding the food you must have the temperature at the right setting. If your fryer doesn't let you know when your oil is ready then use a thermometer to inform the temperature. The Waring's "Ready" light should go green once the oil has hit the desired temperature.

Step 5 Make sure that when siting the food it is done carefully. Some fryers have a basket; you may use the wire basket and drop it with a handle or you may bring down it by employing a spoon with holes, making sure that you take away the spoon.

Step 6 Deep frying is a fast method of cooking. If you needed to cook an entire chicken in a deep fryer it might only take forty five minutes or so. Set the timer to your cooking time stated by the recipe, or depending on what you will be cooking. With the Waring Pro Deep Fryer, you don't have to keep your eye on the clock. The timer will ding when the time is up. Lift the basket to see if the food has reached that golden color. This may also be confirmed via the window on the cover.

Step 7 If the food is done, slowly raise and hang basket on hook within the oil container. Allow oil to drain ten to twenty seconds. Open cover, remove basket, and put fried food onto absorbent napkins. Remember that with the Waring Pro Deep Fryer, the timer doesn't turn the machine off, so when the frying is through, turn the temperature knob to standby. Unplug the breakaway rope from the outlet before detaching from the frier.
