Want to cook your own polenta, just like your Italian grand-mama would? This is just the pot for you! This traditional polenta pan is made of unlined copper. While appropriate for preparing polenta, it may not be suitable for cooking other types of foods, especially acidic foods such as tomato sauces, etc.

This item has had a protective coating applied at the factory to prevent tarnishing while in dealer's stock. This coating must be removed before the pan may be used: If you wish to use this pan for decorative purposes only, the coating may be left on and will protect it from tarnishing.
