LamsonSharp forged knives are made from heavy gauge 400 series Hi-Carbon stain free cutlery steel, fully hardened to optimal harness and tempered to a Rockwell C 52-55 harness. This provides lasting sharpness with regular use of a sharpening steel or a diamond hone. One piece forged full tang blade from tip to butt for strength and balance.

Taper ground blade, hand edged with LamsonSharp's unique beveled edge, then hand honed for the finest razor cutting edge.

Only the best rosewood from government directed conservation forests is used in the LamsonSharp Rosewood line and the Gold line has form-fitted Delrin handles.

Handles are triple riveted with solid brass compression rivets for strength.
