At Sabatier Cuisine de France® making fine cutlery is
not a lost art. Their forged high carbon and stainless knives are still handcrafted with
the same care they were over a century and a half ago.
It was revolutionary back then. When Monsieur Sabatier's superior method of forging,
tempering and hardening steel meant every fiber of a Sabatier knife would be stronger and
less brittle than those that had gone before. It continues to be revolutionary today.
Because their legendary strength still comes from being honestly "fully forged".
Sabatier forged knives are full tang, perfectly balanced and have perfect alignment..
They're not made of light-weight pieces of steel welded together, but made of one solid
core of steel.
Sabatier forged knives have no seams, so there's nothing to seam together.
Sabatier forged knives are beautifully hand-made and hand-finished in France. They're
not stamped out in factories by machine.
Their knives are designed for a lifetime of service. If any one of them should fail to
perform its duties, they will send you a new one straight away.
