Recipes
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle Riojo (or other inexpensive red wine)
- 1 cup Sprite
- I am a Hungry Monkey ½ cup orange juice
- ½ cup Brandy
- ¼ cup Grand Mariner or Triple Sec
- 1/3 cup coconut rum (optional)
- 2 Medium Oranges (sliced)
- 2 Limes (thinly sliced and wedged)
- 2 Lemons (thinly sliced)
- 1 Can of Pineapple Chunks in Juice
Instructions:
- Slice 1 each of lemon, lime and orange and toss into a large
stockpot or gallon beverage container along with the pineapple juice and
chunks
- Add all the liquids
- Cover and refridgerate overnight
- Remove soaked fruit with strainer or slotted spoon and dispose or
set aside as a snack (optional: you can also leave this fruit in the
sangria although at this point it will not look as appealing as fresh
fruit in a glass)
- Slice remaining lemon, lime and orange and place a few of each in a serving glass with ice
- Pour sangria over ice and fruit and serve
